The Pompey Pages joined a handful of Pompey fans and were taken on a ‘behind-the-scenes’ Fratton Park stadium tour earlier today.
The tour lasted around two hours and only costs £10 per Adult, £5 per Child/Senior and is something we urge all Pompey fans to experience.
Currently run every Sunday, the tour takes you in the the executive lounges, passing pieces of Pompey’s history on the way, both the home and away dressing rooms, through the media centre, down the Fratton Park tunnel and out on the pitch – oh and don’t forget a great photo opportunity of lifting the FA Cup trophy in Pompey’s home dressing room!
Tour guide Jake was a very knowledgeable individual, especially on the topic of Pompey and Fratton Park history, and the stories he had to tell and details to point out along the tour makes the trip just as magical.
The tours may start to be arranged more regularly and maybe even during match-days, but are currently run every Sunday, so make sure you get down to Fratton Park and see it for yourself!
Full pictures of the tour can be found below in a slideshow.

It made me realise I want to see FP developed instead of a new ground, keeping the wonderful history intact. All supporters should take this tour, you will love it.

Some great pictures
