Pompey have today swooped to make 10 signings ahead of their crucial League One opener against Bournemouth on Saturday.
Kieran Djilali, Mustapha Dumbuya, Jon Harley, Brian Howard, Izale McLeod and Lee Williamson have all agreed to join the Blues, whilst keeper Simon Eastwood will also sign a monthly deal after playing on non-contract terms in the defeat to Plymouth on Tuesday night.
Jack Compton, Luke Rodgers and Liam Walker have signed subject to international clearance.
All the deals will be cleared subject to FA and Football League approval.
In additional Chelsea youth player Conor Clifford has tweeted: “For everyone asking, I be signing the papers for my loan at Portsmouth FC tomorrow!”.
He added: “Buzzing for Saturday, hope I get a chance to play at Fratton Park in front of all the Pompey fans.”
Pompey are also expected to sign Reading goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen on loan, and the Dane will go straight into the Pompey side for the Bournemouth game.
